Journey Training was founded by Penny Wolff, a professional trainer / careers coach with over 15 years' experience in both the private and public sector. She prides herself on offering clients bespoke courses that meet their individual needs.
Her passion is personal development and coaching and she has extensive experience of working within organisations such as Sure Start and children's centres, empowering both parents and staff through personal development and confidence building workshops. She has facilitated the setting up of a number of very successful parent's forums, father's groups and training & employment departments for several children's centres.
Much of her experience has been with hard to reach groups such as women returners, single parents, refugees, sex workers, adults with mental health issues and the homeless. She is also a fully qualified careers coach with over 15 years experience of coaching adults and young people and has worked extensively with the long term unemployed and recently redundant.
Having written several articles for Families East magazine she was approached by Eileen Fursland (former editor of Mother and Baby magazine) and Carol Smillie to ask for contributions to their 'Working Mum's Handbook'. She is also the Careers Expert for OnlyDads.Org, a website set up to support single parent fathers.
More recently she has been involved with delivering training aimed at gifted and talented young people under the City Challenge Programme.
